TICKETS FOR MARTIN LUTHER KING, III SPEECH AVAILABLE
Tickets to the free public lecture to the Martin Luther King, III event
are now available (Monday, Feb. 2, 2004). His speech “The Dream
Deferred” takes place on Tuesday, February 17 at Palm Springs High School
Auditorium (Ramon & Farrell). The program begins at 7 p.m. Doors will
open at 6 p.m.
Mr. King is the eldest son of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin
Luther King, Jr.
There is no cost to attend this program however everyone who attends
must have a ticket. The free tickets (limited to 4 per person) are
available at the following locations:
Palm Springs City Hall
Palm Springs Public Library
Indian Wells City Hall
Large groups desiring tickets should contact the Town Hall office for
information.
The speech is being presented by Desert Town Hall – Indian Wells.
Sponsors for the event include Palm Springs Unified School District, Tom
and Jackie Suitt, CBS-2 TV, The Desert Sun and R&R Radio Group
(KPSI/KDES).
