Welcome to the third installment of the Resort Report. This month we go back to Palm Springs. Just as the sun travels east to west, so will we as our first stop will be La Posada East, then we’ll go a block to La Posada West.

Your hosts this month are Murray Browartzke, Scott Jarron, Drew Gromnicki, and Gord Cormie.

Travelers to beautiful Palm Springs have a veritable smorgasbord of choices when it comes to choosing accommodations.  You are about to discover a hidden jewel among the myriad of options…  La Posada Resorts, Palm Springs.

La Posada Resorts are more than two glorious resort properties.  They are an experience.  From the moment you step onto the grounds of either of the two amazing locations, you will know exactly what we mean.  La Posada West provides an intimate setting with gorgeous grounds and a true desert feeling.  The stunning view of the mountains will capture your imagination, as will the 10 spacious and cheerful rooms.  La Posada East is an oasis with a Mediterranean flair and lush tropical landscaping.  Each of the 11 rooms has its’ own unique theme.  Try them all until you find your favorite!  The two locations are only a block apart, and when you stay at one your gate key also opens up an exciting adventure at the other.  You truly can stay at one, but play at both!

According to our guests, La Posada resorts are as much a feeling and an experience as they are a place. The first thing that many people experience is a sense of feeling “at home”…the only difference might be the number of handsome naked men lying around the pool.

If you’d like to bring your 4-legged friends with you, you’ll be happy to know that both resorts are pet friendly.

La Posada can provide guests with anything from a playful frolic to an incredibly romantic escape into paradise, or a combination of both.  La Posada Resorts are truly “Upscale…Not Uptight”.   Come and join the other guests that have discovered the “La Posada Experience”.  You will meet some of the most interesting people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.  Almost anyone could come to these resorts and feel that they “belong” at La Posada.

Picture yourself enjoying our gay Edens, each have breathtaking views, lavishly appointed guest rooms, sexy men from around the world and an attentive but unobtrusive staff that cater to your (almost) every need. On Friday and Saturday nights, the owners host a full-bar complimentary cocktail party that alternates between the two resorts, and guests can enjoy a frozen margarita by the pools in the afternoon!

The resorts are pristine, and provide a number of interesting environments for you to explore.  From the two sparkling heated swimming pools and tropical spa gardens, to the fun and frisky playground at La Posada East (built for those with a bit of a taste for leather) anyone can find their own favorite spot. Whether it be a sun drenched

Pool-side lounge, or a shade-covered hammock, you will find it all at La Posada Resorts.

The resorts are great places to hold private parties or major events.  La Posada East proudly hosted this year Palm Springs Bear Run and will be one of the host hotels for Leather Pride in November.  Many other groups and individuals have chosen La Posada to celebrate their special events! The resorts have hosted numerous groups and events ranging from the

Cingular Tripletts visit during the “Pub Crawl”, to the

Falcon cast of “Super Soaked”,

to the She-Haws benefit performance for the Sean Newman Foundation.

The staff also worked tirelessly to help volunteers pull off an early morning pancake breakfast for that same orphanage benefit.

The resorts are located in central Palm Springs and are walking distance to the best restaurants, galleries and high-spirited nightlife.

La Posada Resorts have been consistently rated as one of the top guest-houses in Palm Springs. Luxurious waffle robes, Peet’s Coffee, Aveda bath products, wireless internet access, and of course service that spoils and pampers are just some of the reason why both guests and reviewers love La Posada. You’ll love us too!

Come join us and experience for yourself our desert jewel, La Posada Resorts Palm Springs!
